Default Whale wars vs deadliest catch

I wonder what would happen if the Steve Irwin decided to take on the Time Bandit or Northwestern Me thinks the Capt and crew of the Steve Irwin would not far to well
Those are the biggest bunch of bumbling idiots I have ever seen. Its a miracle they have not struck an iceberg and sunk

yeah...that new commo should be a great source of comedy. and the capt just continues to astound me with his lack of leadership...what a pompous ass. half of his crew mutinies and he brushes it off as a non-event. idiot.

missed the show last night but have it tivo'ed.

yeah...that new commo should be a great source of comedy.

I thought it was pretty funny when they decided to "serve a warrant" on the Japanese and the captain put on his lawman shirt complete with tin badge.

I nearly spit my iced tea out when the new comm's guy said he was so thrilled that they lost the Japanese tracking ship using tactics from Star Wars. I laughed even harder when first mate dingdong "broke his thumb".

I did feel bad (sort of) for the chick who busted her ass on the inflatable. Someone should have told her to hang on. I guess she realizes she ain't at Disney World now.

More hilarity on the high seas next week.

I find myself watching this show each week. The people are complete morons, but its entertaining. I guess I watch it to see what the clowns are going to do next.

Between Watson putting on his police uniform, or the "crew" trying to launch the RIBs, or the commo officer , or worse sending 4 females onto the japanease ship to serve the "warrant"

Not to mention the tall goof who is the 1st or 2nd mate who gives the uplifting speech before asking for volunteers to board the ship.

Its a joke! Then the goof's gf gets hurt when the incompitent "captian" of the RIB goes to quick and the poor girl slams her pelvis on the throttle.

But...I keep watching, laughing and making fun of the people. Its entertainment!

I'm getting bored with the show and the constant commercials. The Capt is a douche who appears to never leave his lap top in his cabin. These hippies need to stay on land. Last few episodes were like watching paint dry.

Not sure I can stomach watching eco-terrorists at work, even if they are idiots.

I also have watched this show each week... Only reason, I'm waiting for one of these shit bags to get there ass's whipped... When I saw captain asshole send two douche's to jump on board a ship I had to watch based on what I would have done if someone tried this with me. I still can’t believe that know one has been shot. These people yes have a good intention but the way they go about it is bad. You never see captain asshole jump up and say I'm going in!

I can not believe that someone has not died yet. An inexperienced crew and a captain that is only worried about getting media attention is not good situation IMHO. I watched one episode sunday and thought it was funny when the sea shepard called a greenpeace vessel and they just hung up on them.

In the trailer they show the captian grabbing his chest and a voice saying the captains been shot. does anyone know the particulars?

I actually watched the "captains been shot" episode.
They pull up to the mother of all whale ships, and throw stink bombs and stuff at it.
The Whalers throw flash grenades back at them.

While walking around near the camera the captain looks down and says "whats this"? They take off the bullet proof jacket that he happend to be wearing and dig out a bullet.
It was staged.

Afterward, while the cameraman is interviewing the crew, everyone is convinced the whalers tried to assasinate captain douchebag.
Thank the lord he was wearing his bullet proof vest. He knew one day those evil whalers would try something like this.
Thats why he wears it !

I'm not a fan of whaling, but this show is hillarious. They couldn't do anything worse to the antiwhaling cause if they tried.

The Sea sheppard's are definitely there own worst enemy. They appear to be bumbling idiots on every show I have seen. The captain is a self absorbed media biatch. He has chosen his officers for there ability to kiss his ass not on there seamanship or leadership. He shrugs off a mutiny that cleans out some of his experienced crew which leaves him with green horns for the next cruise. I am not a fan of Whaling but they are animals and there is a quota for harvesting them legally. The Japanese consume or use all of there catch so I am not sure where these guys are coming from. I believe that there tactics are publicity stunts and that the whalers do not respond to keep them from having a higher soap box to spew from or whip the media into a frenzy. Why do they choose to protect whales ? I find it weird when a group of people establish a hierarchy of worth on animals and tell you that there are only X left and we are doomed without them? I predict Sig and Edgar would steal the sheppards lunch and then make them watch while they ate it. Can you imagine Sig's comments and actions if Edgar ran the hoist on the Northwestern anything like they run the hoist of the Steve Irwin? Someone would die. I just hope these guys stay in Australia and the Antarctic. I would hate to see them heckling fisherman in the US.
