Well done.

From the story...

_ Staff Sgt. Seth E. Howard, Keene NH

Howard fought up a 60-foot cliff under intense fire after hearing two critically wounded members were in danger of being overrun. Placing himself between his wounded comrades and the enemy fire, he provided counter sniper fire, killing between 10 and 20 insurgents. He refused to withdraw from his position, although he had less than a magazine left of ammunition, until all of his teammates and commandos were off the mountain.

Truely a hero. Not for one minute do I doubt that heroic actions such as this one are performed by our soldiers everyday... Thankyou to all that are, have and will serve.

Just amazing. It makes me mad when I hear sportcasters use the term Hero for some play late in a game!

This Guy Is a hero. He deserves all our respect.

To a degree that will never be known.

They give without reservation; and should be commended as same. (very much so like many cops)

This is typical of the special forces from every branch of service They do so much in the face of dire adversity and receive so little recognition
God Bless those men
Remember the hype over the girl who feel asleep at the wheel being a hero Yet the young man that fought to keep them alive received a bronze star went by the wayside

Congratulations, and thanks, to all the brave men and women, and I'm not knocking anybody, but when and where did 'team' become an organizational unit of the armed forces, as in squad, company, etc.?

I was never in the military, but from watching military, history and other channels the guys in special forces call their units teams instead of squads...
