Default IPOD Touch

AT & T did not impress me so I went with the touch. They have some cool apps you can download. I just installed one for flight/wx data. It provides VFR data and a link to the AirNav webpage. I only wish it had a data plan like the blackberry; uses wifi but still pretty cool.

King,
I think you're talking about the Iphone. I believe the "Touch" is strictly an Ipod. BTW, thats a great pic from Paris!

It is Ipod Touch, designed just like the Iphone.

Thanks. We love the city. We are taking the kids and new son in law in July for 2 weeks. London a Paris. They are so excited.

Looks like for $70/mo you can get unlimited data and 450 cell minutes

For comparison:

My Sprint BB data plan is $45/mo with no cell minutes

Sprint Air Card data plan is $60/mo

What did you not like about Cell One/Cingular/AT&T/.... ?

Does the itouch automatically connect to any available wifi, or do you have to manually connect ?

If you trust the ntwork, you can set it up to connect automatically. I pay $99 permonth, simply everything plan and 1400 minutes. It includes overseas service. A lot of people are complaining because if you want an I phone, you are stuck with one carrier unless you jail break your phone and then your warranty is gone.

Nooooooo. "Hacking" a device does not automatically allow the manfr to vacate their warranty obligation. It just means more hassle for you, but Apple would need to show that hacking their product in some way compromised its ability to function as designed.
