Default SEC Championship

Congratulations to two excellent programs. While I don't have a dog in this fight (Ole Miss ) I am looking forward to watching. We played both teams. We were fortunate & caught the Gators napping & were able to hand them their only loss of the season. The tide had us 24-3 at halftime but let us back in it & had to stop a game-winning drive at the end. Hats off to them they did & were the best team on that day. Our upset of the Gators seemed to light a special fire under them, as they have man-handled everyone since.

I heard Harvin has a hurt ankle. That would be a big plus for the Tide as he is such a key player.

I have some friends who bleed crimson and I have relatives in FL that went to UF. I will have to say Gators by 10 around the 31-21 range. Good luck to both teams & good luck to the winner in the national championship game to follow.

Let us know how you think the two stack up. Also tell us about the college team you pull for. What you thought of their season & what their prospects are for next year. The SEC seemed to have a down year, with only four ranked teams. As for the Rebels, we finished strong & will play on New Year's. Probably the Cotton Bowl against Texas Tech. We are happy with Houston Nutt & his staff. We will lose some key players on the o&d lines & return a lot of talent in the skill positions. If Tebow goes pro, our qb Jevan Sneed will probably be the pre-season all SEC. Things seem to be looking up for us.

I say 'Bama by 3. I don't think there will be as many points scored as some think. I think Saban will do a heck of a job getting his team ready for this one.

NC State started out the season 2-6 with over 70 games missed by our starters. We rallied with 4 straight wins to finish 6-6 behind the play of a freshman QB and MUCH improved O-line play. Starters finally got healthy and it showed. I feel like State is on the upswing behind some solid coaching and an understanding by the players.

Looking forward to what I expect to be a nailbiter despite the Gators being favored by 10. I am a UF guy myself and have high hopes at the championship.

Harvin being out is definately a key factor but we do have some others that are very strong. None that can dance like Pearcy though. I say Gators by a touchdown.

I have enjoyed watching all the stompdowns by UF this year and got to enjoy the blowout of Citadel from the Swamp itself.

GO GATORS!!

Bama by 10, unless the Gaytors get a fresh shipment of boogers at the half and come out fired up.

I am one of those who bleed crimson and white, and really hope Bama pulls this one out but if they don't I'll have some comfort in an SEC team going on to the national championship. As far as Ole Miss. goes, I have always ben a Bama fan first and SEC fan to the core, I think Ole Miss is moving to the top right behind Bama for me.

Don't think Bama is in the same league as FL. They get stomped by at least 20 pts.

I think Alabama will beat the spread but still lose the game in a very tight game. I think this is the National Title game because they are the 2 best teams in my opinion. No offense to Oklahoma, USC or Texas fans. My team like Wolfpack03 (I agree with his assesment also) is NC State and next year we will have the first team all ACC QB behind a much improved offensive line that will be deeper than it was this year. I am more concerned about our defensive line but I think we have a good shot to win 8+ games next year. The team that controls the line of scrimmage on both side of the ball usually wins the game. Our coaching staff is very good and I am pleased at our improvement this year. Tom Obrien knows how to beat UNC so he is fine with most NCSU fans including me. Unfortunately a bowl game for us this year is looking less likely and that is a negative because we could use the additonal practice time.

Alabama and Florida tied with their Ds.

Florida better O, but Sabin to offset the better O with his ability to set a D to beat any O.

Alabama by 3.

If Alabama's corners and safeties and corners show up, it's anybodys game. If not Florida will walk the dog on us.
