Default Stratton VT lodging suggestions?

Planning a vacation to Stratton VT in Feb. Any lodging suggestions for 2 couples? Things to do/see besides sliding down the mountain? Anyone have a house/condo to rent? Looking to arrive Sunday Pm, depart following friday.

I am there a bit. Great mountian and you really dont have the leave the resort because they have the Alpine Village thing built right into the base. Plenty of stores, but you also pay alpine village prices up there... Plenty of places to eat in town much cheaper. But They have everything from a rowdy base lodge bar, to a wine and steak bar 200 yards away...

Call them directly. They have a ton of timeshares that get rented weekly. I rented a trailside condo. walk in walk out deal. Ober tal i think it was called.. and we paid about 250/300 day for a 2 room condo. Full kitched bath and living room. Two couples it was great.

I saw the Steeler / Giants game there last year.... ahhh good times...

i got some great advice there last year for an easter weekend trip. we avoided stratton and went to bromley instead. it's much smaller but was perfect for my family which include 2 kids (8 & 6) who are just learning. bromley doesn't have the resort ammenities of stratton, but it also does not have the crowds. it's only about 20 minutes from stratton. also if you're in that area and you get fresh power, you'll definitely want to get over to magic. it is insane terrain. again, no ammenties, but a well-kept secret and highly-loved local mountain. no snowmaking there though, so it's only good if you get 6"+ of fresh pow.

We stayed at the Landmark last year and had a great time. Take a day and do some snowmobiling.
