Default Blinking mutlicolored Chirstmas lights

What is the deal with these people that have these all over their houses? Does it drive anyone else crazy? Colored-OK. Blinking maybe, but one blinking, one not, one colored, one white, one orange, one chasing---- all on the same front porch!!! DRIVES ME NUTS!!! What ever happended to candles in the windows with clear bulbs and a simple wreath!! Rant over!!

LOL I hear ya. I have 4 sets of those multifunction lights on my tree - two clear, two multicolor. I have one set of the clear on a slow up / down graduated function (they start dim, get a little brighter, get full bright, dim a little, dim a little more, start over). The other three sets are on steady ! I tried every combination there was and I just could NOT take it. I paid about 3x more for light sets and don't use any of the functions. I'd sell them on craigslist but with my luck a neighbor would buy them and use one of those crazy pattern functions - no thanks ! LOL

Ah, come on. Where's your Christmas spirit?

Here's mine:

Guy two blocks from me has his ENTIRE yard covered with blinking trees, flashing reindeer, lights synchronized to music... the whole nine yards. I've heard it can be seen from the Space Station. And it fools my exterior lights into thinking it's sunrise.....
