Default Free Credit Report.com

Is it just me or are these the most annoying friggin commercials on TV right now? Damn I want to smash the TV every time it comes on.

On top of that, its blaten false advertising. You cannot get your credit report for free unless you enrole in some triple advantage crap....which you have to pay for.

God I hate stupid and annoying advertising.

Sorry...it was just on TV again and I thought I would yell at you guys instead of smashing my big screen TV.

Not true, checking your credit will not harm you. If you want the service and belong to USAA, you can get the service for $5 monthly. They alert you when somone acceses your report or something post to it.

You can obtain a free copy from www.annualcreditreport.com

Actually you can get you credit reports for free. Once every 12 months from each of the big three. So if you stagger the requests and request from a different one every 4 months you can watch your report for free on an ongoing basis.

What you cannot get without paying is your credit score.

But at a minimum you can watch for anything going on there that is not right - for free.

some of their commercials are better than others. They must be making lots of money because they sure spend alot advertising. Speaking of commercials, the best now are the baby spokesman for ETrade....the one with the clown is a classic

Those commercials drive me nuts. I made the mistake of signing up for them once. Took a act of congress to get it canceled.

The 20 or so emails a day from the dog nail trimmer people are getting old also.

Apparantly it does only when you also apply for more credit.....
"Inquiries that count toward your FICO score.
There is only one type of credit inquiry that counts toward your FICO score. When you apply for a mortgage, auto loan or other credit, you authorize the lender to request a copy of your credit report. These types of inquiries, prompted by your own actions, appear on your credit report and are included in your FICO score. "
