Default Whale Wars 11/21

Did anyone else see the stupid captain and his 1st mate disregard the safety of his crew by sending them out at night, and forgetting the captive crew members?

Seriously, I'm dissappointed the Discovery Channel would air something like this. I really hope they stop showing these terrorists.

Did anyone notice this is a television show? Come on guys, its all scripted. What are the chances that all this crap would happen when the Captain was taking a nap and nobody would go wake him up? Its all a PR stunt. That RIB never left the side of the ship. Edit in some video of it running from he helicopter and and throw in a muntiny. These shows are all the same. some one is in danger, someone has to make a tough decision, someone is argueing, and they are running out of time. I will go so far as to bet that rib accident was staged.

Remember, to be on the ship, you have to be willing to die for the whales! I am looking at their website and where it says "Crew Needed" it also says "Warning: No whiners, malcontents, mattress lovers, and wimps need apply."

I guess not many people on this board qualify then.

They should have made it a show about Whales fighting each other to the death. The title would have at least made some sense. I have no love loss for either of these two groups of people

Did anyone notice the message spalshed on the screen by Animal Planet? It stated something to the effect they don't share all the same views as what is actually on the show. However, We are all glued to it each week, which is what Animal Planet wants to gain market share of commercial advertising. As far as Sea Shepard and Animal Planet is concerned, they are both getting what they want.

And we get to watch them all make idiots out of themselves.

he said he wanted no part of what they were doing, because it seemed like they were just throwing two sacrificial lambs out there. In other words he agreed with you.......

So he's just like a Jap (how ironic) general who orders his pilot to kamikaze into a US boat... just this time, they MIGHT not die.

The 1st mate sends his people into "battle" and doesn't really care what happens to them. That's what he said. Who cares about the people who were captured and who cares about these poor, stupid kids who are going out there at night in pretty rough seas.
