Default Boat Factories Closing Doors

Just wondering... what factories have closed their doors. I'll start the list- sea pro, laguna... I have no doubt that unfortunately the list will be long.

Let's hope that the oil price drop will help the industry as most of the material is petro based. A lot of the problem is negative talk that creates a worse problem. A lot of the boat plant closing are part of a cycle of an industry that has large ups and downs.

Having been in the business, I can tell you that there are too many boat manufacturers and boat dealers. Those that survive will be healthier and in a healthier market. That should be good for consumers because of better efficiencies at the builder level and service at the retail level. That said, I wish everyone well.
