Yeah what happened to blake on the maveric? I think it will go on for a long time, I never get sick of the reruns because 10 yearss go they never had fishing or hunting on tv now its gettin more popular but lets face it no matter how much of the same thing of dumping pots it still beats watching dr. Phil with the wife . Did you see the new episode where the guy heated up that staple and put it through his finger nail to release the pressure OUCH!!! I love it when phils son jake went out and bought the flatscreen tv for his bunk on his dads credit card... reminds me of when I used to push my dads buttons.

My guess is that punk ass Blake lost his ride after blowing last years catch by not keeping an accurate count......I have to admit I enjoyed watching him try to blame everybody but himself for the screw up.

I enjoy the show even though the crew's are becoming a bit more dramatic as they get accustomed to the camera's.

My favorites are the Hilstrand brothers on the Time Bandit. I have only been able to catch the first two episodes so far this season. Hope they do a run over the weekend soon.

I like Phil.....but you can tell he dotes on his boys. Did you see the first show of this season? His oldest took his dad's CC and bought a flat-screen with it. If I had done that, my dad would have thrown it overboard.....then I would've followed......
I think Blake was a little too big for his britches....especially after he outed Phil's honey holes to another boat last season.
Sig lost some status when he was involved in endorsements for the outfit that got caught poaching crab.
Ya gotta give it to the Hilstrands for dropping that F-250 on the end of one of Phil's pot buoys.......that was a riot.......
I wonder what Phil's gonna do to get a little payback.

I watch every episode, But i do think this year is a little slow. When they first started, It was still a derby so it was insane. Now they fish a little slower and safer which is good. But I get the feeling its going to get hairy soon. seems like it always does...

BTW- Blake Painter .. aka .. Captain Blake of the Maverick - Reports are that he recently bought his own boat and is now captain of the ship "Tradition"

I liked when they tied the flour trash bags to the line and they exploded when they went through the block and as far as this season being slow i think thats what makes the show good cause it is real life stuff

Payback is going to be a bitch, can't imagine what Phil has up his sleeve. Nothing like a good ball busting war

I doubt it. There isn't really a whole of of "reality" in reality TV. Who cares?!? If it is entertaining, watch it.

I'll have to go with Sig and Edgar. Cant think of his name but the new guy with them last year who is back with them this year will go a long way with anything he does if he continues to put forth the effort he shows in each episode. I hope the northwestern wipes them out.

My second fav is the Time Bandit and crew. I just wish Johnathon would have handled it a little better with his son. Just because your son doesnt want to be what you want him to be doesnt mean you have to turn your back on him.

I'm a big fan.

I have to admit thought, I don't know how long they can keep it going. Especially if they continue doctoring footage like they got caught doing this season.

That said, I think Mike Rowe is the best personality on cable.

I like all the Captains, except Sig. I think he's kind of a Jackass. Funny how there's been no mention of his Russian crab deal this past year.

Edgar and the rest of the crews are great. I find Jonathan and his constant enthusiasm to be my favorite. I think his son leaving broke his heart, but he's got a boat to run, mouths to feed and lives to look out for.

What's a guy to do?

I'd like to know how long they realy go without a break. I know those guys work hard but the show gives the impression that they work for 30 or 40 hours with no rest or food.

I like sig and edgar. I like phil too but he looks and sounds like he could drop dead any second. that guy needs a life style change.

It's gotta to be the Northwestern. They are a great crew, thanks to Edgar. So I vote Sig. Blake is a punk and a spoiled "entitled" shit. He tells others everybody's secrets. He can suck on 5 pounds of dangling fury.

Bugbuster- Man you nailed it or maybe Mike will later in the season. There is no job he won't try. Who even knew that a bull could be jerked off or that it should even be tried? That's the definition of courage. Hey bubba, look what I can do to this bull do. Crazy. HE IS THE MAN. I love watching his shows.

Has everybody seen the episode where he is helping somebody on the great lakes catch water snakes? He and or the person he is helping got bit several times. Mike Rowe is the man. I love all the shows he is in even if I can't stand the job he is doing. Who would ever thought about breaking out a propane torch and torching cow utters in the name of bacterial safety while collecting milk? Not me.
