Default Rockhouse Hotel and Spa, Jamaica

My wife and I are considering spending a week there. Anyone have any experience with them? http://www.rockhousehotel.com/hotel/

Looks neat. I don't know anything about it but we are trying to find a place to spend our 25th later this year. Let me know what you find out.

Yes, I spent a week there (it was 3 or 4 years ago). Very quiet and nicely taken care of. You can snorkel right out of the back of your cabana...there are also some small glass bottom boats that will take you to a better reef further out for a nominal fee (they pick you up right there). All in all, the food was good (we mainly had breakfast ((awesome coffee)) and lunch which is by the pool) but we also ate at a couple of other places right near the beach in Negril. All in all, if you need to really relax, this is the place for it. We went in April...weather was good, Red Stripes were great. The fridge is stocked...so drink em' up but replace them with the cheap beers you can buy right across the street (small market across from the property).

When you make a reservation, make sure you get a cabana with a nice view. Try looking at Travelocity or Expedia for other feedback

Good luck!

Glenn

Thanks Glen, that was what we wanted to hear. Sounds perfect and the rates are very reasonable.
ROOM TYPE SUMMER RATE WINTER RATES
Standard $125 $150
Studio $150 $175
Villa $295 $325
Premium Villa $350 $395

I think we're going for a villa as opposed to a premium villa ( these are new since your visit ) as we won't require extra beds. Did you folks take advantage of the Spa treatments? We are looking to book an all inclusive week if possible. Thanks for the info. Glen, that is very helpful in making our decision final!
Shag, look perfect for a 25th. to me!
