Default Wonderful Boating Article

Ever since the death of William F. Buckley, National Review (the magazine he founded) has been publishing articles in his memory. This one was written by his son, and is all about sailing. It's a beautifully-written essay, and captures a lot of what boating is all about. It's a lengthy, but worth it. Just thought I would post the link here:

Great story - especially about the buried treasure!

Though I hope my wife has enough sense than to let me wear a scrambled egg hat as I get old and eccentric!

I have a book that he wrote called "Atlantic High" about how he prepared and performed a cross atlantic sailing trip. The chapter on celestial navigation kind of blew me away. I was interested, but not prepared for that level of detail.
