Shrub doesn't speak as much as he just sort of brain-farts in public.

I can only imagine how many Bushisms we're gonna get from this speech......

Hey George, maybe if you didn't pay your buddies to use our food supply for fuel at least food prices might be lower??

I heard the clip on the radio yesterday were he said that he understood money problems because he was trying to decide how much to spend on his daughters wedding. WTF! The man is a multimillionaire and will receive his salary for the rest of his life.

This is almost as bad as his video conference with the troops in Afghanistan were he said he wished that he was there with them and talked about how romantic war is.

Wow, what a speech!!!

"Its because the ISLAMOFASCISTS the corns fields are harvesting our youths are being destroyed by the evolutionists. There is no other solution than to correttly and promptly invade Brazil immediately. We have learnt from our History. Coalition forces will be led by Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Tony Blair. Our enemies and all the enemies of Freedom and God will suffer the most worst fates. The Congress cannot fail to fund disenfranchised homeowners who have morgtaged their forclosed homes. We must not fail.

Does anybody even listen to Bush anymore? Between this latest on, dancing an Ashley Simpson-esque hee haw jig while waiting on McCain, and then his "Gas is going to $4.00 per gallon? Where'd you hear that?" comment, I just figured he was taking a few tequilla shots before puiblic speaking to "calm his nerves".

What do you want him to say, the world is going to hell in a hand basket, everyone run for cover, don't spend a dime, put your money in a mattress, that's the only way you'll make it out alive. Yeah that'll jumpstart the economy.

They are doing everything they can. 6 months to a year, the economy should be back on track. These housing crisis happen about every 8 to 10 years. Remember junk bonds in the 80's.

The problem is the banks lending standards were like non existent, lots of dumb people borrowed too much, now they are in trouble. Too many banks invested too much money in risky sub prime loans, chasing high yields. It's the banks fault, and dumb people. The fed should of stepped in earlier to regulate it but as usual, the gov. always comes in late. Now they are going to try and overregulate which will suck too.

Damm whiney California democrats !!

Sorry man, this economy is frustrating, got me wound up, but, as dumb as he comes across, it's not his fault, and it's very frustrating to listen to dumb people who think it is. ( like all of my in-laws)

Hey - most people are kind of cranky right now, and waaaaay back in '91, Bush vs Clinton, the rallying cry THEN was "it's the economy, stupid." Both of them are trust-fund babies, classic New England wasps (silly Texas accent or not), and are completely out of touch with working people.

Bush speaks? So does my dog---and more intelligently. A disaster and a moron. One of the worst presidents in history. Shows what you get when the holier than thou, right wing, morality police prevail. Sort of like Iran. I guess he was "intelligently designed". What a sad joke.

Nah..JC doesn't even have a spot in the top 10. Looks like James Buchanan gets that honor.
