Hah! You lucky duck. I changed marinas, and although the new place is a lot nicer and more convenient, the price for my slip doubled from last year. I have a 15 foot outboard - went from $1200 to $2500. I better not get any increases for the next 10 years.

My fear is that down here (NJ shore) slip space is turning into waterfront condos and there won't be much available in the coming years. I'm not blaming anybody though - that's just the way it is and if I didn't screw around in my early years I would have been sober enough to buy a slip 20 years ago. Oh well.
