The Tata Nano, think I'd rather have that than an electric car

$2500 USD brand new in India... Just introduced 60mph W.O.T. 50mpg

Tata nano is Indian for Yugo?? Won't make the cut in the US, both from marketability and safety/emissions.

Something like that would be perfect for my wife. Right now she's got an Audi A6 which she drives about 2-3 miles each way to the bus depot each day (she works downtown). She's put on about 6,000 miles in the last 3 1/2 years. Needless to say her Audi days are done.

I could see getting a POS car if it was priced like that. At the same time, I'm not going to spend $12,000 on a POS car.

I have big feet. I hope the hole in the floor is big enough for me to reach 65 MPH on the interstate.

Now everyone in developing countries(China) can afford a car and use MORE GAS!

At least it's "frugal"(that would be a catchy name)

Drive the "new-and-improved" FRUGAL(yu-go boy).

That POS car wouldn't survive an accident with a moped. And that's the problem with this substandard vehicle....the treehuggers and nanny state politicians would try to ban full sized cars and trucks given the simple fact they would crush this golf cart in a fender bender.
