Default Cajun restaurants south of N.O. on way to Venice

Any one know of any good cajun restaurants south of the Big Easy on the road to Venice? The Hun

Salvo's in Belle Chasse is probably the only one decent, but wouldn't consider it Cajun. They have boiled and fried seafood, along with some plate lunches. It's about a 1/4 mile after exiting the tunnel.

yeah i was bout to say. once you get south of town you are gonna have a hard time finding much at all

Cypress Cove used to serve a mean Ribeye....Is the Restaurant back open?

The road between NO and Veinice is empty, once you go thru Belle Chase, of resturaunts only the everpresent FEMA trailers and abandoned houses...

i haven't been down...i heard it was open but i'm not sure about the restaurant. I live up in Uptown Nola
