Default Re: Anyone own a Powermover trailer mover?

Finally the wiring diagram made sense and I got it working. (control box had been ripped off by DHL)

To anyone curious about these things, I'm pretty impressed with it in general. This is an AC-6 and had plenty of power (SLOW, SLOW POWER) to move my 5000 lb boat back and forth across my paver driveway. Even used it across a patch of grass without an issue. Motor didn't even get warm to the touch.

The only thing that worried me is that I was inclined to do things like pull on the tongue at a right angle, but when I did that, the tires looked like they were doing things they weren't really supposed to do. Any comments on just what angle is "safe" to apply to a loaded trailer? Or should I not sweat it as surely a tight turn would apply similar forces?
