Default Patriots win...

despite the "best" efforts of the officiating crew, the Pats still won. I cannot recall a worse game by refs than this one. At one point, Mannig even appeared to be embarrassed by a sh!tty call I expect the league to do nothig of course, but it's a joke. Were it not for those 2 penalties, the Colts lose 13 pts. DO the math. The first 2 long "defensive" intereference calls were clearly offensive and the call against Moss later should have been a non-call as they were both playing the ball. Sorry roger goddell, the Pats win. I am obviously a Pats fan, but 4 Indy fans in my home tonight were stunned at the terrible officiating as well. I doubt goddell will do anything but what should have been a game between the 2 best teams in the NFL became a game between the Patriots and the league officials. They win anyway. Tough break, huh???

CMP, couldn't agree with you more. The officiating was terrible. It seemed that every time the Patriots did something right, penalty! It was very tough to watch. The two INTs by Brady didn't help, but two passing interference calls? C'mon! Then on one play, Kevin Faulk was tackled before the ball came, and no call. Bullshlt! Brady and the Pats D came in at the end. What a catch by Stallworth when he was pushed out of bounds. Will the Pats go 16-0?

Haha! They turned it around tonight. Offense looked slow, then they turned it on. Thats what the great teams do. Not to mention Brady broke Mannings record for most games with 3 TD passes...9! Woohoo!!

Celts won in OT too!

As my buddys uncle(Runs a sportsbook in Vegas)would say"The Zebras are in the pocket", meaning the refs were paid off. Colts still couldn't win. How about that 1 handed grab by Moss.

Missed the last 8 minuyes of the game due to a meeting I had to attend. As the meeting was breaking up someone asks one of te kids the score - he says Indy 27 Pats 20 final.
Went to bed pissed off - horrible officiating. Oh well perfect no more.

Woke up went to the paper and Wahoo!

One of the most hard fought (on both sides) games I have ever seen. Both teams came to play and play they did !!!!!!

The officials should have their stripes taken away !! That was hands down the worst game of officiating that I have ever seen !! Nothing else even comes close !!!!

Whether you are a Pats or Colts fan..... everyone should be agreeing on that one !!!!

Congats to the Pats on a well played game. Now a week off to rest the bruises, etc. and then on to Buffalo.

I thought maybe I was hearing things, but did anyone else catch what sounded like feedback coming from the "crowd noise" near the end of the last patriots drive? It was almost like the cd had a "wobble' in it...

I slid in for something to eat and only saw the fourth quarter.......I glad I missed the earlier BS because I hate the sh!t! But with what I watched, it was a good game.......I like forth quarter rallies.

So with this be another AFC championship match up?

While I'm not a Pats sympathisizer by any means, that pass interference call on Moss in the end zone was ridiculous. Both guys are playing for and looking for the ball.

But Welker scored a TD shortly afterwards so it proved to not be a factor.

Another chapter in "The Legend of Tom Brady" but, according to ESPN, the Colts were really at a disadvantage without Harrison, and if they had him, this would have been a different result.......Oh, Brother!!!!! Gimme a break!

What I find encouraging is that the Patriots played the worst they have all season, against the best team they'll face in the regular season, on the road in the loudest place in the league, with terrible officiating.....and still managed to win. Go figure...

I've thought from the beginning that the Pats would go 14-2 and I secretly thought this was one of them.

You have to play the percentages and believe that one team will pick them off. After all, the 85 Bears were a GREAT team. No one can dispute that, but a pi$$ed off Miami team beat them 38-24 in early December in FL and ruined the perfecto.

I just can't figure out who that team is going to be...

I just heard on the radio that they were talking about the same thing. They replied the reverb several times.

Here's a forum discussion on it:
