What is the story ;? ;? ;?

Yes this stuff is very good, I picked up a set of it for hunting after watching my son wear it for several years in football/baseball.

I normally do not like something that fits tight and restrictive but it does not restrict your movement and will keep you very warm :thumbsup:

IMO, UA isn't good for cold days when you're basically sitting still. (ie. fishing) It doesn't seem to have much insulation qualities. Now, when your sweating up a storm on a cold day (i.e. Skiing), then it works great at wicking away the perspiration to keep you dry.

That is what Heater Buddies are for, small propane heaters. I even used one in my deer stands when it gets cold down here in Dixie :grin: :grin: :grin: . :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

My kids can't take it off... ever! I find it cold/cool against bare skin when skiing. On the chair lift... But when sweating it is pretty nice.

I've got the Cabela's version of it. LOVE IT! I use it for duck hunting and fishing. I use it as my base layer. Very very comfortable and warm.

Good stuff. Military has gone to UA. For once, they didn't go for the lowest bidder, only dropped once route....... :grin: :grin:

Re: Under Armour

Thanks guys, I guessed we bought the right stuff...I run / 5-6 miles every morning and the Admiral does the last 2.5 - 3 miles with me...I ride a Gary Fisher Mt. Bike...and do just over 12 miles every other day on it...the Admiral is looking into getting a new bike at the end of this month...we both have had: Diamondback's, Treks, Giants and Raleigh's...I had a full susp. Cannondale, did not care for it and bought the Gary Fisher a month later, converted it to a Hybrid (exchanged the wide off road tires, put on a raised handle-bar...flat bar gave me a back ache)...something to do with age I was told...

Anyways, thanks for the reply's.....I'll use both shirts and pants (tights) as a base layer and when just a slight chill in the air...they should do fine alone...

;) ;cool;

Geez TB, you live in the middle of the freak'n peninsula. Whats it get down to, a nippy 55 degrees. :grin:

Why waste the money on new undies, get a flask, some good scotch and go without. :thumbsup:

IMO UA is all hype and marketing. Not that their stuff is bad, it isnt. But, it was not and is not new or novel. They came up with a catchy name and did a good marketing job to sell something that was already out their, but a niche market. They turned it mainstream.
