I used to like Springstein, up until the point he became blatantly anti-American. We need to send him to hang with Al Quida a little bit. He seems to think they're really the good guys.

I call Bullshiittttt John. Show me a time when Rock and Roll wasnt political. Bruce is alright. Great memories. You probably think I am drinking too much George Soros wine, and I definitely think you are listening to too much Rush. Do me a favor and at least switch to Hannity.... or sports radio.

ParkerSal: These guys have crossed that real thick clear line between disagreeing with our policy to picking the side of our enemy. Listen to what they have to say and you will hear it loud and clear.

If I decided to boycott every artist that I disagreed with or thought was a traitor, I would be left with britney spears - as she's too stupid or drunk to express an valid opinion...

When I buy music or films, I go for what I hear or see on the screen..not what they do in their real life...anybody that listens to an actor or music person to shape thier political opinons may as well source the local bar at 5 pm on any friday...it's as stupid as it gets there too....

shut up and sing, IMO....sirius costs me the same if I listen to Buffet or Bruce so I'm not giving them anything...I like both of them on stage....

FWIW, I think the two best voices in their prime were Streisand and Rondstat...both idiots in real life....still listen to both of them....

John Mellencamp is now considered un-American too. Crazy chit man.

The funny thing is the song that is the Chevy commercial, is a song about inclusion. Also listen to "Someday" on that album.

John you are good guy I am sure (we all are I hope...we boat...). I aint tryin to give you grief, but governments change with the wind (including ours). I ain't about to give up one of my greatest sources of peace and release (music) and start dividing it because of some talking heads on either side.

How is Born in the USA anti-American?

Is it because a guy gets into trouble and is drafted to go to fight in Vietnam? I guess that never happened.

Is it because, comes back and can't find a job? Guess that didn't happen to anyone either.

Is it because the vet is having trouble adjusting to post-Vietnam, 10 years later. Nope, never heard about anyone having that happen.

Yep, anti-American. Subversive.

Irony being that the guys who he was singing for with BITUSA are the guys who thinks he's anti-American now.

Can't have it both ways.

The day we stop letting people express their opinions about how our gov't f--ks up is the day we're closer to Stalinist Russia than we are the USA.

Funny how the people who generally don't like when guys like Springsteen express opinions about how our gov't is not serving our nation think he's anti-American. And how can you not support the gov't and what they're trying to do.

But when our president decides to get a BJ from a fat chick -- oh s--t, the gov't's going to hell. How can we let that happen? Time to throw the bastard out.

And all I was trying to point out as I started this post is that I'd rather listen to "Rosalita live" than England Dan and John Ford Coley...Jeez....

I used to listen to Springsteen before he was putting out records. Loved the guy, loved his music. Having said that, I can't stomach listening to him anymore. He's completely lost my respect and my money. I wish I could seperate the music from his politics, but I cannot. Kudos to you that can.

They are completely welcome to express their opinions. Nobody said he can't. But since he doesn't have any education and experience and the only thing that gives his opinions ANY credence at all is because he's a famous entertainer, he should have enough class to STFU.

As for your last sentence, people that have scruples would want that President outta there, whatever side of the aisle you're on. If the Prez is doing that garbage in OUR house and STUPID enough to get caught to boot, what other kind of crap is he up to?
