Default HONDA POWERWASHER OIL QUESTION

I have a 2006 13 horsepower 3700PSI powerwasher. I lost the manual. I am changing the oil. I can't remember what type...I think straight 30 detergent is what it calls for?? I was going to go with full synthetic, which is niether here nor there...just the wieght and detergent or non...I own 4 powerwashers, but, use this one the most...and, since the others sit up for long periods, and, I misplaced all those manuals also, I'm stumped here. Anyone know for sure on this...thanx!

Just use either honda small engine motor oil, or penzoil makes one as well. Traditional multi-viscosity oils won't kill it, but are slightly less than ideal for this application.

Did you mean a Pressure washer? lol! 30w or 10w30 will work just fine! Remember power don't clean crap but pressure does!

Why are you changing the oil? If possible, get the old oil and put is back in.

If that is not possible, then put in some oil you bought at Walmart. It will work fine.

Last resort, consult the store where you bought the unit.

If no luck, I am sure any multi-viscosity oil which includes 30 wt will do the trick.

I have a 1998 Honda pressure washer which has never had the oil changed but runs like a tiger. I will try to remember to look at the owners manual to see what it says and answer your question.

These little motors run like hell bitches and never complain. Oil aint that big a deal these days.

BTW, this is an example of PUI, so don't take it personally.
