Default THT Server Migration on 10/9

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that we are performing the server transfer today. We will begin the move sometime between 4pm and 5pm EDT, and it should last a couple of hours. During this period, THT will experience some server downtime, and we ask for your patience while we get everything transferred. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at feedback@thehulltruth.com.

Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that we are performing the server transfer today, or maybe tomorrow or the day after at the very latest. We will begin the move sometime between 4pm and 5pm EDT, and it should last a couple of months, maybe 6 months tops but no one is paying attention to our slow servers. During this period, THT will experience some server downtime, painfully waiting periods for posting on all forums and we ask for your patience while we get everything transferred. We may lose some threads during the transfer but we assure you the pictures in the sand bar will not accidentally disappear and we will not make any changes to the Bilge in the future. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at feedback@thehulltruth.com.

Thanks!

This is funny it has taken me 5+ minutes to post this very post.

I think they thought "server migration" meant moving the servers to a new room.

Yea,
I heard its filled with equipment they bought from NASA that was surplus Space Shuttle equipment from the 70's . It is right next to the smoke filled room where the Mods all sit and make decisions over what we should read or see.

Give em a cheer Heel.

This site has always been slow for some. Never for me. Ever thought it could be your / their ISPs?

Was that cheer a little over the top?

That's because you have the special kiss a$$ speed upgrade. Your posts actually hit the site before you type anything while mine take 20 minutes. At least my breath is nice.

There is no migration going on at the moment. This is an old topic, and no longer relevant. So this thread is being frozen.
