Hmm, here is the Youtube version.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nal3RP9il3A

I listened to the interview hoping I would heard one thing - and I never heard it.

That guy who cut the flags down is an idiot. However the cops who did nothing were worse idiots. They should have gone to that bar, told the owner that this was a federal offence and they would cite him if he didn't rectify the issue. That should have been done immediately.

Now we have one federal offence which causes an idiot to commit more - including damage of private property, brandishing a knife in the committment of said crime and probably a bunch of other stuff he is going to get hit with - just because the cops didn't do their job.

What didn't I hear - did anyone, the cops or this guy go to the bar owner and simply say "flying any flag above the US flag is a federal offence, you need to fix it." Looks like the answer is no. What a way to run a frickin' country.

Patriotic my ass, guy was lucky he didn't get a cap in the head.

Bar owner screwed up and should have been told to fix it. ZZTOP brandishes a serious blade, damages and steals property, and then threatens the owner re trying to get it back as he grandstands for the cameras.

I swear, you guys get more liberal every day. You think it is OK for someone to damage and steal property from a fellow American while armed and then call him a hero?

Cops screwed up. Twice. They should have dealth with the bar owner then should have dealt with the thief.

As he sheaths his knife he says "I want someone to fight me for this flag, they're not going to get it back!"

Here's a clue idiot - they will. It's theirs and here in this US of A you just can't walk up and steal something brandishing a knife.

mezies, your the only idiot i see here.....what the hell do you think ?? oohh, i know, its a big secret that its illegal to fly a flag from a foriegn country over the american flag isnt it.....i knew you had the answer

lets see, what do you think is going to happen if an American flag gets flown over the mexican flag in some mexican town ?...
oohh, and even if it was a "secret" to the mexicans...just one more example that they care nothing of our laws.....whats the phrase ??...oohh i know ignorance is no excuse, but i guess thats different for the poor souls that come here from "down under, western hemisphere edition"

point being, ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law....and thats not even throwing in the idea of common scence......would you go into the dolphins stadium, and fly a bears flag over thiers ??...i dont think so...wake up

that was nothing more then a jesture of disrespect......and the fact the cops are tied by political correctness does not mean that an American shouldnt take measures to his respect for his country....be it right or wrong the way he does it

and one last thing, it probably wouldnt have done any good to tell them its illegal, or anything else for that matter...they dont even have the respect to learn this countries language...they just dont care, because those like you make it easy for them to do as they please

WRONG, badly wrong and you missed the whole point of my posts. IT IS ILLEGAL, IT IS A FEDERAL OFFENCE. NO EXCUSE. OK got that, you can read that in my posts above too if you can actually read simple posts.

Who applies the law around here? ZZTOP with a blade or the LEOs? Since you seem to say ignorance is no defence then you don't have a defence. The cops were standing there and did nothing - but then again I guess youi liberals don't believe in the rule of law or property rights.

Incredible. Here's another thing - you will note that I did not abuse any THT members in my posts above - then you come in and starty calling THT members idiots. Nice move newbie. Why don't you add something positive before you start flaming.

uummmm....im not sure, but i bet there is some sort of federal law or something that states if an american flag is being abused or cissrespected, that someone can remove it from that invironment.....im not a lawyer, but i bet there is something on the books to that ideal anyway

i didnt see him threaten anyone with that knife......he made a statement that he wanted them to fight him for it if they wanted it back.....but i didnt see him threaten anyone....i applaud that man, and i would do the same thing in his position....maybe if more people in this country felt that way we wouldnt be in the shape were in....

what i cant believe is that here you are outraged that a vet with a knife cut down a flag being dissrespected.....all you seem to care about is the vet with the knife......what about the mexicans who (im sure knew they were doing wrong) flying a foriegn flag on American soil ??

ps: nice self portriat there of the crying baby......is that the best you can do when someone confronts you ?

It could be that Menzies is an idgit and has to prove it to all new members.

because menzies is a pathetic shut in.......he told me to go feck myself, on my first ever post here.....when all i was doing was introducing myself and making an observation.......then for some reason, hes not man enough to stand his ground on that and is trying to pretend he didnt do it.............and now, he for some reason is fixated on the vet with the knife, instead of the real problem of mexicans flying a foriegn flag on U.S. soil over an American flag......a true sign of dissrespect for this country if i ever saw one
