Default Any good pre-paid phone plans out there?

The wife has the occasional need of a cell phone, and we used the Tracfone plan for a while,
but the service & coverage stunk...

Anyone know of a good plan / server they would recommend?

We just bought T-mobile for my wife. Buy the phone and 1000 minutes and the minutes are good for a year and stay active as long as you keep adding a few at a time. The phone is nice (samsung flip) and the call quality is good but she has places she can't get service that she should be able to (a couple of areas between her office and home and today we discovered that it wasn't working at Palm Beach Int'l Airport!). However, if having a signal at all times is imparitive, Verizon or Cingular are going to be the best was to go (IMHO) and their pay-as-you-go plans aren't any cheaper than upgrading to a family plan and adding a line.

I always figured the best plan was the one the lover paid for.
