You need to clear your web browser's cache. It's not google, its your web broswer -- it is set to remember your entries.

Interesting: I like the memory feature (it shows last 3 in one view) but as soon as I try to hit the down arrow to see the 4th last place, it scooots all the way to the bottom and all my places inbetween that I may want to revisit are a blurrr - and useless storage.
There has to be a way to see the list sloooooooowly....

Google does however have plans to keep its users search data up to 18 months! Only with the users consent... for now. Here is the article: http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...h_history.html

If you want to clear the search history in the pull down on the Google page you can click in the box so that your history pops up. Then move your mouse over an item that you want to delete so that it is highlighted but do not click. The hit delete and it's gone. I have not found a way to get rid of all of it at one time.

Actually, according to the article, they routinely keep ALL users' histories for 18 months and with the users consent more than 18 months... it says it helps them refine searches for the individual users... sorta makes sense to me.......

Nevertheless, They haven't asked me yet...
