It is a terrible tragedy here in Charleston for the firefighters and for the Staff of Sofa Super Store. They are a customer of mine, we support their IT, and I was with them this morning. The store that burned down housed all of their data and connectivity so we are working to get the other stores on their feet.
It is going to be a long a difficult revcovery for them, but atleast when I was with the management a little bit ago, they talked of rebuilding so that is positive.

Bell-

Certainly not taking anything away from the grief of the firefighters families and community, but the It guy in me has to ask: did Sofa Superstore not have some sort of DR plan together?

Joe,
At this time I would rather not comment. maybe when things settle down a little. But lets all remember, we can rebuild the building and the IT stuff, and replace the furniture, But
Not those 9 firefighers, When I get home tonight and see those kids of mine, I'll know that some kids have no daddy coming home.

I respect what all of the service folks, police and fire do. I don't risk my life each day as they do and I am sure I don't thank them enough.

So to all of the folks that protect us daily and readily risk their lives to save others. I would like to personnally thank you.

Dean

My thoughts are with those Firefighters and their familys. I read where they were able to save some from the building before it collapsed. Brave Men...What else can you say....

Yes, I saw this on the news this mornin' as well......I'm VERY sorry for everyone involved. Never an easy thing to have go through and words alone can't express what everyone feels.

Thoughts and prayers to all ~
