Default Nifong GUILTY!!!

The guy goes down on 6 charges of “dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation”, and still claims he did not “lie” about evidence.

Lawyers; they rotate in their own little universe…

I'm glad the good guys still win once in a while. So what do disbarred/disgraced lawyers do after they get dumped?

Last November's election was critical to him so he could retire on the public dime. Rumor was that he was going to get thru the election and then drop the case. Not sure why he kept going with it.

Hopefully the accused players take him civilly for everything he has. I have watched this case and I am glad to see this happen. Next, the striper should go to jail for false accusations.

Just saying what? That it's OK to cry rape to make a payday if you're a skank whore and they are "rich" white kids??? WTF, You can't really believe that can you?

Crap like this happens every day in our judicial system, it just floated to the top this time. Will any other LEO's or attorneys "learn" anything from this????? HIGHLY doubtful...... I wonder if the press will cover the civil cases that will now roll like a ball downhill...... When everyone is through with Mikey he won't have a pot to urinate in or a window to drop it out of....

No way! Isn't it a crime to file a false report with the police?

On the other hand---. Hiring a stripper ain't the smartest things these guys could have done, right! If they would not have hired the stripper this whole travesty of justice would never have got started.

The stripper---. I can't hardly feel anything but pity. This is a young woman who needs some help, not hate.

Nifong---. No excuse, he's educated, suppose to render impartial prosecution to give the public justice. Obviously he broke the rules, now he needs to pay. His rush to false justice is what actually turned this tragic event into a circus. The young woman who needed help will never get it. The young men will be remembered for the accussations against them, not for breing falsely accussed. I garauntee he don't have enough money to pay off everyone in a civil case.

Do you feel the same pity and sympathy for all criminals and con-artists?

No I do not!

As stated earlier fileing a false police report is a crime.

However, I do think this young woman is in need of help. Drug abuse, emotional, mental desease, whatever the cause. She is a lost soul. Because of Nifong's neglect she will never get that help. Imagine yourself for one minute being the girl's Mom or Dad. Can you imagine the pain they felt, first thinking their daughther was raped. Then finding out that she is not in her right mind.

What about those young men? Do you feel sorry for them? They did get the ball rolling, didn't they. Do you think they hired that young woman to come onover and play monopoly? They are guilty of poor judgement. Now in my opinion what they have paid, far exceeds any penalty they should have been levied. But let's face facts, if those guys would have settled for having an old fashioned beer bust, no one would have ever heard a thing about it. Instead they go out and hire a stripper, kinda like looking for trouble ain't it? One of the comments one of the men made was how was he going to tell his Mom he was being arrested, gee, think he would have been willing to run home and tell his Mom he hired a stripper? Not something to be proud of right? My Mom always told me, if you ain't willing to tell everybody about what you done, maybe you should not have done it.

They hired her to strip NOT to rape her. I doubt it was the first party she ever went to, but I'm sure she smelled $$. You CANNOT blame the boys, they did not committ a crime against her, other than the fact that perhaps they should have shopped for a m ore moral stripper.

Just sayin what? Just sayin, like 29 said, they got the ball rolling. In other words, they knew it was a snake when they picked it up. I ain't going to waste my time digging for it but I'd bet there is something in Duke's code of conduct that would possibly frown on binge drinking and hiring hookers, uh, I mean strippers. But maybe not. I've been wrong before.

Anyone that thinks the justice system in America works, even some of the time, needs to think again.

I forget the web address but there is a web site that is nothing but a list of people that were wrongfully convicted. It is a big list. In darn near every case the DA intentionally affected an unjust outcome/conviction but was never held responsible for their wrong doing. You would be surprised at how common it is for a DA to withhold evidence. But the corruption is not just limited to criminal cases.

The courts in the United States are corrupt beyond belief. Most of us will never experience the other side of the bar in a courtroom so we can’t know the magnitude of the injustice. But those that have a re sharing their experiences. Right now, the single greatest threat to the United States of America is the people’s apathy toward its legal system. Lawyers didn’t just show up on our porch smarmy. They grew into that state, and we allowed it. And then some of those smarmy lawyers went on to become activist judges that don’t even have to pretend about their sickening biases.

This is how bad it has gotten:

Report Shows Spread of Special Interest Pressure, Growing Clout of Business Groups in State Supreme Court Elections

Posted: Thu, 17 May 2007
Author: Committee for economic Development

WASHINGTON, May 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Special interest pressure is metastasizing into a permanent national threat to the fairness and impartiality of America's courts, according to a major new report from the Justice at Stake Campaign and its partners, the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law and the National Institute for Money in State Politics. At the same time, a new survey conducted by Zogby International for the Committee for Economic Development shows that four out of five business leaders worry that campaign contributions have a major influence on decisions rendered by judges.

::: You can read the whole story here: http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/s...e,107790.shtml

I’ve I have been saying… JUDGES AER NOTHING MORE THAN SMARMY LAWYERS IN BLACK ROBES. They are lawyers that chose the path of a judgeship to pursue their political ambitions.

There is nothing wrong with the United States of America that was not caused by lawyers. There is nothing wrong with the United Sates of America that cannot be fixed just by shooting all of the lawyers.

Now that we all know for sure.........beyond any reasonable doubt...........Prosecuters go on politically motivated witch hunts with little or no evidence. They will persist with the case well after they discover the truth, for personnal gain. I wonder if Fitzgerald will be the next one to wear the "tar and feathers"?

This doesn't even began to cover Judge "fancy pants" Pearson.

I'd like to make the word "Nifong" a new synonym for sleazeball. This morning's news reports that after making his play for pity by resigning during the disbarment proceedings, in his written resignation he tried to make the effective date July 13. How could this SOB possibly think he'd be allowed to stay in office even one more day? Thankfully a Superior court judge caught his sneaky attempt to collect another paycheck or two and suspended him effective immediately.

While I'm here, kudos to the Duke players and their parents for refusing to accept his apology. All too often today, people think the "right" thing to do is always graciously accept any apology. BS! There's times when "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it, in this case it was just an additional insult.

I'd like to make the word "Nifong" a new synonym for sleazeball. ...

Being nifong’d has already become an expression to mean you are unfairly persecuted or framed. Kind of like being oj’d means you get made dead.

It just doesn’t end with Nifong. He resigns, effective mid-July. The Chief Judge steps in and removes Nifong from his job, effective immediately. That means Nifong will be paid for the not working over the next 4 weeks because he was disbarred for being a lawyer, um, I mean a liar.

Here’s the real kick in the seat of the pants; the judge that removed Nifong could have…AND SHOULD HAVE does it sooner. He has that authority and it is vested in him for the sole purpose of removing DAs that act inappropriately as Nifong did.

Instead, the judge avoided responsibility for his decision by waiting for the bar to finish their hearing over Nifong’s actions. The judge was asked to remove Nifong a long time ago, back at the beginning of this whole mess. But he didn’t. He left those boys dangling while he let the bar make the decision and only stepped in when Nifong gave himself 4-weeks notice on his resignation.

Lawyers…there is nothing wrong with the Duke lacrosse case that was not caused by lawyers. There was no breakdown or failure of the justice system that was not caused by lawyers. There was no persecution that was not caused by lawyers. And in the end, the failure to correct the situation in a timely manner was caused by lawyers. And Nifong gets a paid 4-week vacation on the tax-payer’s dime because of the failure of … yup, lawyers.

NOTE: NIFONG CAN FACE CRIMINAL CHARGES. WHAT JUSTICE LOVING LIAR, I MEAN DA LAWYER, HAS THE STONES TO FILE THE CHARGES??? (Don't hold your breath.)

Hopefully the civil suits will also include the stripper and the race pimps Jackson and Sharpton. How come they are not apologizing?

What's worse?

Making a bad joke as Imus did.

Or

Falsifying reports, hiding evidence, slander, fraud, possible extorsion, and ruining the lives of the accused and their families.

Remember, Imus' apology was accepted by the female players, but that wasn't good enough for the race whores.
