Default Neighbors....

We have a family down the street that we love dearly. We will miss them hugely when we move. However, I am about to ring their necks. They sent their kid down to play with ours a few days ago and he had just finished up the stomach bug earlier that day... Of course they didnt tell us until after he had been at our home a few hours.

First my son got it now I am hugging the bowl. I want to go down and ring their necks for the lack of consideration.

How does it compare to "Sea_Sickness" ?

Hope you feel better soon !

I know how you feel....I work in an elementary school and parents send their kids in ALL THE TIME when they are sick and really should still be home for another day or two!. GOd forbid the parents miss a day of work, or lounging on the couch! I caught a really bad stomach flu back in Feb. and it kept me out of school for 3 days...inconsiderate people!

And the worst part about it is, society at large is going in that direction!

I was reluctant to read this for fear that it was a new Cape neighbor! I agree with Keith!

BW23, much worse than being sea sick.. At least when I get sea sick I feel better immediately afterwards and pig out on food. I havent eaten since yesterday morning

Beachgirl, I feel for you. Many parents use school as day care and will send their kids to school at all costs. They have even made kindergarten full day to accommodate those who do.

Just1More, no gripes with the Cape neighbors yet. Of course I dont move until July 13th. Based on what I saw at the strawberry festival, I may regret this move

Birdy, I would love for you to make my picks. I think I would be in last place if you averaged the last 3 races. At Charlotte, I only had one driver who didnt wreck out and finish in the 30's

The baove serves an instant lesson for wannabe parents:

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
