Default Have some THT signature picture sizes gotten out of control?

[soapbox on]

It seems like lately there are a number of posters here who have REALLY big pictures in their signature. Sometimes it makes reading long message threads kind of annoying (And I have my desktop resolution at 1600x1200. It must be worse for people who use a smaller desktop res).

Read one line of text.
Scroll past gigundus picture
Read one line of text reply.
Scroll past gigundus picture
etc etc

So for a while I disabled signatures when reading messages but I found that many people have useful information in their signature (boat/engine/location/etc) that I missed so I reenabled signatures. I guess my best hope is if there was some community 'standard' for signature picture size.

Maybe we need a THT HOA with architectural/signature review committee.

[soapbox off]

For the very same reason you mention I have sigs turned off. If there is anything of interest to be posted it will need to be as text in a post. I learned it did not impact me life in the least to turn off sigs.

I suggest you turn the sigs back off, again, and get back to reading only what really matters.

Yes, and one in particular comes to mind.

It's the bent over blond in Captains Sids signature pic.

It needs to be made larger. I'm squinting too much.

Crips I've even tried blowing that one up to get in closer but to no avail.

But IMO you are right, some are full page on my screen.

No thanks. I bought some SigPic Offset Credits. You see, since you don't use one, I bought your space so my average sigpicfootprint drops by 50%.You can get them atgigundussigpicfootprintscam.com.
