Default Another Serious Boater Question Re: Sea Craft

Okay, I have another serious boater question.

Do you folks think a boat manufacturer shoud be able to back up claims to have set four world records and winning dozens of races?

The Sea Craft crowd on here is up in arms because neither they nor Sea Craft themselves can give me any information about those claims on their factory website. I actually called the factory as this topic came up on another thread. No information was available.

Some guy on the Boater Forum asked if new Sea Crafts were any good. There are a couple of Sea Craft owner/experts on the thread, so I asked the same question as to Sea Craft's claims. Now they are all bent out of shape because they keep trying to show pictures and stories about Sea Craft winning a few races, but absolutely nothing about those four world records. Every time they try to show me they don't know anything about these records, I point that out to them again.

Okay, you guys play Judge Judy and tell me whether or not you think I'm out of line on this? Obviously no big deal either way, just curious as to how folks do things on this forum. Oh yeah, I suggested those guys look up the definition of forum. Maybe we all should as it could save us all some grief from time to time.

How boring would a forum be if everybody said and thought the same thing?

You're one tenacious fellow TN... The best thing to come from your asking is all the new resources of the history and beauty of a true classic in boat design & function. I'm sure someone will provide the 4 world course records you are so interested in. It might take some of the historians a call or two to find it...but it's there and those that set them I believe are still around....give them a little time. Keep it clean...and go get ya a 20' to put on the Big Boat...then you'll be stylin'!

Yeah, kinda a like a beagle after a rabbit in heat!

YOU STARTED IT!!!!

I've gained new respect for you there SeaRaft, but you still can't find anybody to tell me about those world records. For the less informed, I was teasing ole' SeaRaftBoy asking him if his boat was a jon or pontoon! I'll admit honestly that I did not know what a Sea Craft was. I did assume it was a fishing boat, probably a cc, and he sent me a link to their website. BIG MISTAKE!!!

Why don't you post that link down here so folks will know what all the "fuss" is about! There is no more to my motivation for asking the questions than I have already stated a dozen times.

I think that's a world record!!!
