Details are private... let's just say I'll still have to work for a living - but at least I'll have a life!

Congrats Wiley.

I was hoping you pulled a John Heind/www.jumptheshark.com deal and made enough to quit working.

"He's a rich nerd,
Because of TV Guide,
Jon Hein's now a friggin' Millionaire!
He sold "Jump the Shark" and you know what's funny?
The great big dork now has fXXX you money!
He's a rich nerd, a rich nerd, yeah... he's a rich nerd.'"

Hey, sounds like a good deal to me. Wiley gets to relax a little more and enjoy life while he's still young, and this group gets 60,000 boat and fishing guys plus a whacked out ex-lawyer in Miami as potential customers.

Thanks Hotspot...

Yea I just saw that - uncry these tears. I wish Wiley all the luck in the world going forward - I was truely addicted during my last years at work. I still belong to no other forums. Unfortunately, however these things have life cycles just like everything else. I find a good restaurant and before you know it everyone else does and when the new owner buys it - all to often the quickest way to make more$$ is NOT to continue to expand the previous owners improvements but to raise prices, or cut back on quality of food or service or atmosphere, or all 4. CT Fisherman just became a subscription only site. And they still have advertising.

It is a challenge to have a true users forum with increasing economic pressures from big advertisers. Lets just hope this will be the exception. I don't want to even think about what will happen to the sand bar - I guess the last change there was an unrecognized warning shot across our bow.
