Default Jr's Team Fined, Points Removed

Tony Eury Jr. was fined $100,000 and suspended for 6 races and Jr lost 100 points for improper modifications to his rear spoiler at Darlington. He is not in 14th place.

They are setting them selves up so Jr takes the whole crew with him at the end of the season....

There is no way Eury over looked that part..... He claimed they were left over from a prototype...

Junior up to his old tricks again? Did'nt he intentionally spin out to get the "lucky dog" spot a while back. He's a little rascal.

It's impossible to cheat in NASCAR. That would be harder than getting away with a piledriver in pro wrestling!

Back in the day....#3 car....
Richard: Dale we need a caution!
Dale: I'm workin on it!

Cheating is very possible.

I do remember such a conversation between Childress and Earnhardt. Damm I sure do miss that combination.

LOL Junior isn't the brightest bulb on the tree sometimes huh? "Dang, I forgot other people could hear what I was a sayin'!"

I was just kidding about cheating possibilites, but you have to admit some of this stuff sure is suspicious and looks to be scripted sometimes. NASCAR is becoming more about entertainment than racing IMHO.

Remember when Jack Roush got all excited when Jeff Gordon beat him on old tires after he missed the gamble on a late pit stop?

How else could he have been beaten by a purty boy in a Chevy?

In the words of the great Smokey Yunick (RIP)..there's CHEATING and there's "cheatin" CHEATING is a 7 liter motor in a 6 liter class. "Cheatin" is when they say ya gotta run a 25 gallon fuel tank, so you run a 3" fuel line to it.........

Now THAT is funny, and I am certain quite true as well. That was truly the good ol' days....I wonder how much of that still happens?

That was Larry Mac's recount of the good ol days.
One race at Richmond, back when they Q and practiced on race day I heard while Dale Sr was practicing and running like crap...
Richard: Dale whut we gonna do we need some speed?
Dale.....long pause.......*in a disguised voice*....'rocket fuel?'
He was hilarious on the radio!
