Default Just some thoughts on having 2 boats . . .

. . . on Saturday I'll be driving down to get my new trailer and new boat and bringing it back home to MA. I will now have 2 boats at my disposal, the one we've always had that we just repowered and the brand new one. My sort of sadness lies in the fact that I'm sure I won't be using the old/newly repowered boat much this boating season. I might even be stepping over it to get onto the new boat as they will be docked up side by side and I might keep my new girl on the outside since I'll be using it more often. We figure that if anyone wants to take the 87 to the beach or to fish then they can while I'll be out fishing for darned sure. I was out on the 87 on Saturday with my Dad and I couldn't help but thinking that it might have been our last time out on that boat and it was kind of sad but I just got to thinking about it and it is sad as he is getting on in age, just turned 69 in Feb. but we did dockwork on Saturday and he did just as much as I did and I was sore on Sunday morning.

Oh well, gotta live for the now as it is said often and I'll be looking forward to Saturday and our 1,500 mile drive as the past 5 months really flew by.

I know exactly how you feel chickenecker. Ive become burnt out trying to get mine fixed. I work on it and I think it will run and I have to get towed in every time. I see a new boat in the very near future.
