I have the 2004 Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7 with tow package. Towed my 225 Key West No problem, then my 26' Scout Abaco no Problem (#7000). Even towed my 27' Jayco 5th wheel no problem. Great truck!!!!

I bought a leftover 06 Quadcab 4x4 with the Hemi last Dec. Window sticker was $36,000, and with the discounts and an employee coupon, I got it for $24,000! Such a deal! The 06 has the Hemi that drops cylinders while cruising. I averaged 18.2 MPG towing a 15 foot Jon to GA and back, and 14.2 MPG towing my 3000# Wellcraft to Lake Ontario, and that's a tough tow up and down hills on I-81. I'm real pleased with it.

I am towing my 06 Four Winns Vista 248 with my 2004 1500 Hemi Ram Rumblebee 4x4 short bed, anti spin and tow package. It tows my 248 but beleive me I KNOW it's back there.... I don't over stress the truck because I know my 248 loaded with a full tank of fuel and water is damn near at the limit of what the truck can pull.

Comming up the ramp is a 4x4 low range experiance...

It's a great truck though, and I have no doubt as long as I treat it right when towing it will go a long time! (at 45K miles now).
