If ya think that’s good just wait until it hits $160 by the end of this year.

Then $280 by end of 2008.

Then $360 by end of 2009.

Then $450 by end of 2010.

Above figures adjusted, of course, for splits.

Apple‘s past 30 years were just the beginning. Hang on tight, folks, for a wild ride on the Apple money train.

OK, what's up with this stock? I wanted to jump in at 90 and stubbornly watched it go to 108. What keep driving this thing? Numbers are solid but it just keeps climbing up. Great stock for those who own it and frustrating for those of us who do not.

Joe, I have been taking money out of my Apple stock for years, my original investment and lots of profit have been taking out for years now.

Gonna take out enough to buy the stuff illustrated below, real soon. That will still leave me working on “profits” with enough stock to make tons of money in the future.

This is serious business and Apple is a company which is just beginning to put itself at the top of the computer and entertainment business. There are only two choices: #1• get on board for a long profitable ride..... Or #2• stay standing at the station and watch the Apple train go faster and faster, higher and higher.

Don't feel bad . . . I kicked myself for not buying the stock at $7 back in 2003. I was moving out west and I figured I needed the money for moving expenses. $700 investment would be $21000+ today.

That gap in late April will need to be filled at some point.
So expect it to come back to 95..if only for a moment.

Whenever you want. It's your investment.

That was sort of the question.

Much like your house..you're not really making any money on stock unless you sell it, that is, unless you're waiting ona dividend. What was Apple's last dividend?

That was sort of the answer. Can't be any simpler. It's much different than your house. You can sell your stocks at any time and STILL stay in your house. Not so when you sell you house. You have to move at the stated time. Though with your house you can take an equity loan and have some of the built up equity in your hands. With the stocks you can sell and repurchase on a pull back...but it's not the same thing. So I stand by my answer...whenever you want.

Just toying with ya - but I'm sure you know that.

I raised my stop limit today since I do expect a pull back soon. Might as well as grab some profits off of it on the pull back and repurchase after it bottoms.

I doubt it . . . . all the banks have set their target price to $133 - $140 . . . I don't think you'll see 95 again, but who knows. It'd be nice to take some profit off this big move.

Let me make an observation on Apple from a non Apple user (although I do have an ipod that I have used about 2x in 3 years). I have been on several flights lately and just happened to take notice of something. In the immediate seats around me, say 25 people, on the one flight I counted 3 Apple laptops and 7 iPods. Certainly a small sample but it caught my attention immediately. Ages ranged from the teens to the 70's (I swear the one guy was at least 70 with an ipod hookup up to his non apple laptop) and these people did not remove their headphones for the entire trip. So out of 25 people there were 7 ipods....that's impressive to me.
Now what I fugure to be more typical my nephew and wife need to buy another laptop. Knew they were going with Apple but did not realize it was their 5th Apple computer.

Apple at $110.02 today........ Me at 74.......... so, SeaNile, at 74 I have an Ipod with 6,000 songs on it. Appreciation for music doesn’t go away (like some other things) with old age. And for the record I have 2 Mac computers running almost all day and half the night.

... and 7 iPods.
Apple did not invent MP3 players, but Apple created the market for them. In the US, 4 out of every 5 MP3 players (80%) are iApple iPods.

On the other hand, iTunes took a significant hit, losing ground as the premier source of downloadable music source. But on the 3rd hand, iApple is forging ahead to place video distribution on par with their music distribution. That will push iApple up into realms yet conceived. Warner Bros has the goal of distributing all movies outside of any theaters, i.e. on DVD or downloading only.

I work on Campus at UC Davis . . . almost every other student has a ipod plugged into their head . . . walking on b/w classes, at the gym, at the library, in dining halls. Everywhere you look there are ipods and MAC's.

Apples commercials are doing a great job at educating the general public on the short comings of PC's. People are tired of the Microsoft manufactured computer problems - virus, spyware, etc.

112.45 today!!
