Default Soprano question

In Sundays episode, Antny's (Newark speak for Anthony) girlfriend gave hin the ring back. Why? Is she doing Tony?

Doubt that. She's more likely now a member of the Latin Queens, and banging AJ just doesn't fit in with her new plans.

Just kidding. Actually, she's really FBI.

She's a gold digger. Didn't you see the look on her face when Anthony told her his great plans of owning a couple of resturaunts? He is starting at the bottom going his own way and she wants the boss's son to be in the family business

That was my other line of thinking on this, as soon as AJ told her he wanted to manage the pizza place is when she seemed to loose interest.

I haven't though about it much. I'm still reeling from Vito Jr in the shower. UUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!, but the look on my wife's face was priceless. She actually was at a loss for words for about 5 minutes which may be a new record. Funny, not much talk around the watercooler about that.

Love the show, growing up in Newark, it's all too real. The house they use for his morning paper is actually in North Caldwell, NJ about 5 minutes from my nieces house. I will visit her in November and try and get a picture of me picking up the paper in the driveway.

My prediction is Tony does not get whacked. Leaves the door open for the movie they've been kicking around. If he's dead, it's definitely over.

Out on a limb for one of the plot lines and how it ends...AJ gets killed. Carmela blames Tony. And at the end, he's like Michael Corleone at the end of Godfather II, sitting on the back patio in the autumn breeze, alone.

This leads up to what I have been thinking all along. AJ will join the family buisness. He needed to grow up a bit & have something to be angry about. Her leaving (for whatever reason), plus Tony getting whacked (?) will drive him into the mob.
There's your movie.

At first I thought she was pregnant, but now I think it might be a race/mob thing. Her brother didn't look to happy when they picked the kid up.

i agree about her being dissapointed. when carmela talked about the young couple who she sold the house to, that chick was pissed! she wanted it and Carmela giving it to her and AJ was not even a consideration. the chick split!

Did Tony have anything to do with Hesch's girlfriends death?

I think AJ's girlfriend was into the money of his parents and bailed when she realized he wanted to work for it. Goldigger is right.

Better keep an eye on Philly in NY. He is still pi$$ed about his brudda getting it from Tony B.

A lot of good story lines shaping up

I agree that it is looking like a big showdown at the end, it has been a great show since the 1st season

I love the Sopranos, but I also think this season's shows have had some lousy writing.
Sure a plot is developing, but the writing and storyline are not up to par with what it use to be.

I agree with you somewhat, the last couple of years have looked like they are running out of ideas but Chase always seems to WOW you in the end.

I just hate how long it takes them to get to the peak of the conflict, especially with it being the last season.
