Daughter's school traffic patrol fund raiser tonight for the DC trip.

End of season softball parent versus team game and picnic tomorrow.

3 hour travel basketball practice on Sunday, and college daughter coming home for the weekend.

So, boat stays in slip.

I need to renovate the first floor of my house - new molding (crown and base), some electrical (doorbell, timer for front porch light, and moving a few plugs), some painting, some drywall, and installing a new front door. Family will be staying with us starting May 13, so all must be done by then.

But I'm going out in my boat BOTH days this weekend. MWUHAHAHAHA!

That cracked me up (not to mention the fact that I'm in total envy of you southeast folks). Our ground just thawed out enough for us to have our first softball game tomorrow and you're having your end-of-season celebration. The weather recently has been downright wrong around here - any homes for sale in your neighborhood?

They're calling for sunny, warm (~70), and clear this weekend (none of which we've had in at least two weeks) so I'm planning to be outside as much as possible. I'm hoping to go grab the boat from its winter storage tomorrow and take it home for the week where so I can get it ready to splash (hopefully next weekend).

Forgot to answer the original question...

Apparently, I had agreed (at least I was told that I agreed) to be available Saturday so my wife could go shopping for the day with one of her friends. So, I'll have two of my three kids (pawned one off on my in-laws for an overnight) but, the way I see it, they're both old enough to work a bucket and sponge when I get the boat home.

I guess I'll be replacing a board on the back fence and painting the garage this weekend.....I think there will be several nip and tucks around here if we want to sell this place for record breaking top dollar.

Every weekend is family duty. Kids go on the boat with me, or help with boat duties or other duties around the house/property.

Baseball is a way of life for me these days. 5 games in past 3 days. Games this weekend, scrambling to get our house ready for the market by two weeks from now. Got the wife painting the powder room. My big project is getting the boat washed and waxed. Got a beautiful weekend weather wise forecasted for around here. Oh yeah, gotta get a few hours of work done for my employer this weekend. Can't forget washing the car and truck. And some mulch work too. I'm sure there's somethings I left out.

OK, event one over. - the traffic patrol DC trip fund raiser. They must have raised a fortune. They did a 50/50 draw which had a total pot of $2100 - so $1050 to the winner!

Plus food, bingo, golf unbrellas, bake sale.

Based on the money going into that till I'm in the wrong business! SCHOOL FUND RAISING IS WHERE IT IS AT!
