Welcome Bruce, we are in Morehead City, NC, just south of you. Just got our first boat and am looking forward to this weather changing so we can get it out in the water and enjoy it too!

Welcome to THT, Bruce. Bet you're gonna like it here.

Got a place on the river about 7 miles downstream of #2 Lock. Let me know when you're going to be cruising down this way and I'll get up a crowd to wave beer cans at you as you and your '64 go by. Be happy to share 'em with you, too.

Good luck with your refit and again, welcome.

Hey Bruce, I'm a new guy on here myself, but welcome anyway!

I'm a Carolina boy by birth, and there are a ton of Marinettes here on the river as they were built right down the road in Gallatin, TN as I recall.

Let me know if you ever need anything for that aluminum tub of yours and I'll do my best to help. I know lots of folks with those and they all love them! They're a little bouncy in the rough stuff, but they are very economical with the Chrysler small blocks which I assume yours probably has.

I've spent a fair amount of time in Fayetteville, and I have an uncle there who is a retired trooper, First Sgt with the NCHP.

Send me about 3 pounds of Carolina barbecue and I'll see if he might have a few old get out of jail free cards in exchange!
