See what I mean? Ford is so ashamed of it you gotta' get within 10ft. to even see the "Mustang" logo!

FIL's spouse has one on order since she is "Super Woke" and wants the electric vehicle.
We may buy her AWD Escape because the wife wants a better vehicle than her Fusion to deal with winter weather events.

I got mine a month ago today. I was expecting a lot, and it has exceeded my expectations. I've driven hybrids for the past 12 years, so I knew I'd appreciate how quiet it is, but it's a whole different level. Last week I took my "fun car" for a spin, only to realize that it's not as fun as it used to be. It felt slow, loud, and crude. Maybe I'll miss rowing gears and hearing an engine after more time in the Mach - I actually I hope I do.

After driving home from the dealer I hung the key fob on a hook in the house and haven't touched it since. I use my phone as a key. Full auto-pilot will be a software update later this year, but in the meantime the lane-reminder is actually lane-centering - it does a really impressive job keeping the car exactly where it should be and the reduction in fatigue on trips is no joke. (I've already done 300 miles in a day)

I'm not speeding like I thought I might. I'm maybe a little aggressive in trying to get the front position at stop lights because it's so fun to punch it, but that won't put my driving record at risk. I get challenged to race a LOT. I hear, "it's ok, but it's NOT A MUSTANG". I have a well-rehearsed retort that includes asking the commenter to think about all the 4-bangers, anemic 6-bangers, eco-boosts, coupes with white vinyl tops and white-wall tires that HAVE BEEN Mustangs throughout its history. I can usually get them to agree that a Mustang is a vehicle that Ford decides to call a Mustang.
