Default Favorite soft sided cooler?

I’ve decided finally that I want a soft sided cooler.
Going to be most used primarily for two scenarios, behind the front seat in the Tahoe during our 3 day ride to-from SD-FL holding waters, and on the back of the UTV for the rally’s. Been using hard coolers, but I think a soft will serve me better. Would also be able to fit in the tour pak on my Harley for day trips.
Liking the Yeti best because I feel the magnetic closure might be worth the price when reaching in while driving. The Built New York, is running second.
What have you guys found?

We have two Yeti's that we've put through hell and back over the last three years, great product that we would buy again

I have several AO Coolers and have given a couple as gifts.....all of them have been great!

Oldest 2 are 13 years old and still used fairly often.

Anything with the large plastic zipper is for sure a two-handed operation. That's a gripe, but otherwise happy with RTIC. We have a small (like 12 cans) and a large. But I really dislike how difficult it is to open and close, even after waxed.

I can tell you what not to buy.

Don’t waste your money on the RTIC. We’ve had them a few seasons now and all the glue is coming apart....RTIC told us we should probably re-glue it, that because we bought them through a charity fundraiser sale, they wouldn’t honor any warranty. I bought four that day.

Was thinking I'd end up with the Yeti because I like the idea of the magnet. Really would like to be able to reach behind the passenger seat while driving and pull out a water. Read some of the owner reviews on the Yeti site. Sounds like it's a two hands job to get into it. Funny that what drew me to the product is what is pushing me away from it.

★★★★★★★★★★2 out of 5 stars.

NOT EASY TO FILL OR REMOVE PRODUCTS

I bought this in November and would not recommend. You need two people to open and fill. It's not convenient at all to operate. I wish that I bought a different one, but because of the price, I will have to wait. They should also have some type of slot on the side for other things.
Norchill seems to be the one of choice so far...

I got sick of RTICs lasting 366 days before the zipper blew out or the lid came apart, so I bought a Yeti for the warranty.

.....Excuse me, I had my wife buy the Yeti and give it to me as a gift for flag day or some $hit. Didn't want to lose my THT-Man-Card by buying one for myself....

I've had a Yeti Hopper 12pk for a few years now (yep didn't buy it, birthday present! ) Gotta admit, it's a DAMN good little cooler. The zipper is a bitch to operate BUT that's part of what makes it such a great piece of equipment, never leaks and keeps stuff cold for DAYS! I've beat and banged on it everywhere (golf cart, boat, floor of car on trips, beach etc.) The buds I have that have the larger bag type Hopper's equally rave about them. One of my best fishn buds has a PolarBear soft cooler and he's had equally good service from it over the last few years and he uses it EVERY week while fishing.

As for putting one in your tourpak, that's gonna be a disaster waiting to happen! (My last bike was a Screamin Eagle RoadGlide, the pak on it was chopped so it was small but the previous RGs and Ultra's I had before that had a full tourpack and you won't be putting a Yeti 30 Hopper in them either.) I had twin drink holders on my handlebars, one kept a beverage and the other had a spray bottle with a mixture of 90% water, 10% alcohol. Mist that on you while tooling down the interstate and it was like hitting the A/C! I used to have a bag cooler (wanna say Harley made it) that was cut and shaped to fit in a saddle bag. Zipped from the top, held a ton of drinks and ice. Maybe the wife/gal behind you can open it while moving down the road but I damn sure never woulda tried it from the operators perch!!!

I can second this. We have one with a magnet. It's a good cooler but its a two harded job to do anything.

AGREED....that one with the magnet is a PIA to get things in and out of even with 2 hands. I would not buy another one......

Default orca or yeti

I have been looking too. I'm considering the Orca or the Yeti, not sure which one I'll end up with. Take a look at these youtube videos, it may help with your decision.

Another vote for Polar Bear. I HATE my yeti hopper. Have the original version with the flat zipper top - huge PITA to load and tears your arm up when reaching in. Yes, it probably keeps things cold longer than a typical soft cooler, but that's not why you need a soft cooler IMO. Honestly it sucks and I never use it. I either use a smaller polar bear for quick outings/carrying stuff on a car ride or larger tundra for bigger needs.

I second and third the RTIC. That zipper just plain sucks. I like the cooler and think it would be decent if it had a normal functioning zipper. But damn the one on it is awful.
