Thanks for that. That guy is unique. Sometimes people are given a gift that so far exceeds the abilities of others that no words can describe the magnitude of their talent.

Jimi Hendrix was a unique and pleasing guitarist, too.

Ahh, that guy's just playing his guitar like he was holding a pedal steel or lap steel guitar. John Sebastian used to play that way after he left the Lovin’ Spoonful.

If you don’t watch the video, just listen to it, the music alone is not so impressive. But watching the guy adds the visual entertainment that makes it work.

If you guys are serious about guitar talent, try that Egyptian dude raised in Argentina. Er, ah, I’ll go pull a CD and let you know his name.

Sorry for the delay, came across the Joan Baez ‘Diamonds and Rust’ CD while looking. Had to take it for a listen.

If you know what a guitar is, your jaw will hit the ground and you will drool, guaranteed, when you hear Armik playing his guitar.

Go to the [samples] section and list to ‘Lover’s Moon’ from the Café Romantico CD. Or try ‘Montego Bay’ from the Amor De Guitarra CD. Heck, just try any of them.

For multiple guitars there is 3 generations of one family that plays together but I can't remember the family name. They are from Spain. Phenomenal! Anyone know the name of that world famous guitar playing family from Spain?

I've seen that style before...there are a few bangers out there. But what I really appreciate is some great playing like the following. Doyle makes it look so easy and sound so easy.

Doyle Dykes and Taylor Guitars

Doyle again

Doyle once again

Definitely a John Sebastian style, which I've seen several times, but I'm also trying to place someone else........?????????

Richie Havens, if I'm not mistaken Richie Havens rocked the crowd at the original Woodstock with his Freedom performance playing that way.

There's a few others I've seen rock on that way...???...theres just so many bands I've seen to really recall.

edit: Boyle looks like he's got a strong background with picking a five string!
