One in every bedroom, one in the family room, and 1 in the home theater that is a projector with an 11-foot screen. That's the only one I ever watch PS if you have light control and a screen that's not interrupted the cost of a TV versus home theater projector is about the same price.

We have two - main living room and 'play' room. The play room one is pretty much only used by the kids so just video games and netflix but it works fine. Clearly, we are not TV people. Conversely, we spent a decent amount when building the house having a good audio system covering several rooms and the porches. To each his own, right ??
Thanks for posting this - never thought about it but it was interesting surfing through the responses - lol.

1- living room (only one used daily)
2 -porch (used a couple times a year during football season)
3- kids play room (kids use it for video games once a week)
4 - master bedroom (don't know why we have it, Im not sure I've ever turned it on)
5 - garage (gets used every weekend when im working on something out there, usually on some sort of sport)

When we moved into this house we had one tv and we have slowly moved up, one by one.

Only 1 working. Have a second one in bedroom but no connection to it now that I cut off cable, which I should have done years ago. Soon as I can find a cheap quality 43" smart TV I will replace the bedroom one though.

That is true. I dumped cable for satellite 15 years ago and a few years ago I dumped the satellite. Between streaming and what I get over the air, I have more TV than I want to watch.

It's mostly a Toy Box, and a little antique hoarding. Four very distinct seasons in NH and everything needs to be stored indoors.

There are people who turn on the tv after dinner (some even watch during dinner) and watch all evening until it's time to go upstairs to bed. Then they turn on the bedroom tv and watch the 11:00 news, and then go to sleep. On the weekend, they may spend Saturday night in front of the tv, and watch football all day on Sunday. You could easily spend 35 hours a week watching tv this way, and do it all with only 2 tv's in the house.

Others may have a large number of tv's for convenience, yet watch them a lot less. Or others might watch more tv as they increase the number of sets. I just don't know.

Hope that makes sense.
Fair point. That was clearly lost on me.
