Met a lady few years older than I am that lives full time on her Motor Coach. Husband passed was his toy now its hers. Flew in my way last time was home we met shes cool flying out to Salt Lake then headed south to NM across I-10 around the loop in Fla back up to NC. Two week trip.
Shes drive it but sounds like she don't know how to plan stops. Know there a lot of guys here that Do the southern thing in winter. Where are some good places to stop and eat. 43 foot motorcoach pulling a F150 pickup so from what I've learn craming real quick there are places that don't accept things this big and we need drive through, Can't back up with the pickup tied to the rear. .
Need a little help guys i'm the navagator and I'm new to RVs. Driving it will be a breeze its the rest like where to stay, ect ect could use some info on. ???

Get the KOA website loaded on your PC, and Woodall’s RV guide. I’ve made that trip several times. I usually drive until I think I will be tired in a couple of hours, then start calling upcoming RV parks to find one that can take a Big Rig. As an alternative, open up Google Maps and try to,figure where you will stop every night. It all depends on how far she wants to drive every day.

It sounds like you are going to be just driving every day for 10 days. Slow down man. Interstates all look the same so get off them and enjoy your trip. If you only have 10 days to end up in NC then bypass Florida. Campgrounds are pretty easy to locate down the road if you know the miles you feel like driving for the day. Some Apps that you will find helpful is IRV2, Park Advisor, Overnight Parking Find and Good Sam. If your running to a destination don't overlook Home Depot, Cracker Barrel, Lowes, and of course Walmart. When you stop at night and pull the curtains it really doesn't matter whats outside as long as you feel safe. Casinos are the best as well as Horse Tracks. I stay away from truck stops for overnight since truckers really need the space plus who wants to listen to trucks running all the time. Learn the coach and set your generator to come on to keep you charged up. Think well in advance before you find yourself in a corner and need to unhook truck to turn around or back up. If you do find yourself needing to unhook,, chill and you and partner know what each needs to do. You unhook while she puts truck in gear and follow you to a parking area to rehook. It has happened to all of us. But seriously don't feel like a 2 thousand 10 day trip is is better than a 1 thousand mile 10 day trip. Enjoy the areas your at. Last year we were on a trip to Glaciar NP and did a 3 week detour in Wisconsin. Good luck and have fun.

YEP. Shes a very pretty lady. Fun to . Like most that just got out a divorce or free I can tell shes wanting to fly a little while. Got that sprit back and yall know what I mean. Know what did suprise me. No recliner. 350,000 dollar bus they have couches but don't recline.
First thing I did in my slide in was tear the dinette out brough in a electric recliner and customise the crap out of where I'm going to be spending most of my time. Money can buy things, and they might look high end but that don't mean their cool. . I customize the devil out of everything why I always buy used and build it like I want. Made a joke about putting my logo Foster Child on the back. She let me know real quick that won't happening but was laughing with me. This was her husbands dream not hers. She already got a broker for the bus mama has better ideas in mind. Just listening to her talk about their trips it has a lot to do with prestige which ain't me. She said something few nights ago when we pulled into the camp ground their bus demanded respect. I didn't say anything but nothing needing saying, point was caught. I'll always be the country boy that can build what ever folks think they have to be far more than they ever dreamed. Still a customizing nut. . I'm comfort and fun but mixing it up with this lifestyle on her dime for a few weeks it gona be fun and a learning experence for me. Another story to tell later on around a campfire with a cold beer.
. :

I don't do to shabby with the XTS and the country Cadallic pickup truck. . Blue collar working class ain't so bad either.

Yeah, she doesn't sound like the type I would want to hang around with forever either. "Demands respect"? Nah, that ain't my style either.
