Default Different strokes....

I was checking the local Zillow 'stuff' around my area and I noticed a house listed for $890K in a subdivision that does not have homes close to that price range. Buckingham Estates subdivision has basic tract homes from a single 'production' builder that were built around 15+- years ago. But this house..... Wow. Someone went a little crazy.

They recently raised the price by $91,000!

It's been for sale for 6 years.

no they deal drugs, They need to do something with the money. Just pick out the most expensive finishes you can for a house and pay cash for them. It works in middle class neighborhoods, but not when you are priced that high in a neighborhood.

Im not disagreeing, that is atrocious but if you minimize the house you sent there are 2 houses on the map within a stones throw one for 899 and one for 1.5 so there must be some higher end homes there.

Different subdivisions. In THT terms, you have Sea Hunt subdivisions and Freeman subdivisions within sight of each other here in Central Florida. You don't get Freeman money for a house in a Sea Hunt subdivision.

I live just west of Orange Blvd and south of SR 46. Used to be near Wayside Drive until the Wekiva Parkway construction nuked Wayside Dr west of Orange Blvd. I can't wait for them to finish our new access road to get to Orange Blvd at Wayside Dr rather than the current detour that takes us directly through the parkway construction and up to SR 46 on South Center St.

I personally think it looks really cool. Would I live there? Nope. Definitely really cool and very appealing in pictures.

That house is probably a $1.5-$2m house here.

You're about 5 miles from my mother and sister, who live off West Seminole, near the hospital.

1/4 acre is larger than the newer (last 5 years) subdivisions around here. The new standard appears to be 2500-5000 sq ft houses built 5 ft from side property line so you can practically reach out and touch your neighbor's house from inside your house. Yikes.
