Default Digital Video question (very general)

I take photos of equipment all the time. I have tried to take some short videos of the machines withmy camera and the files are too big to email... One minute = 12meg +/- on the minimum quality setting. My question is; Do the video cameras do it differently? How long of a video can be created on one up to say 5meg?

Video files are large. Small file size usually means poor quality. Try Shooting HIGH quality then Download at home and post on the web on YOUTUBE or similar. Then simply e-mail the link.

You can also use zip files.
