Is it time to eat all the ice cream and empty the freezer? Been doing this droning recently getting louder. Can't see any ice or anything loose and it cools excellent. Sound slowly seems to be getting louder. It is a GE Profile swing double doors and about 10 years old.
(Picture is the December calander pic on the frige and is our family Christmas Picture in front of the new barn last year this time )

its the fan that blows air from the freezer into the fridge, check above the ice maker at the top in between the fridge and freezer. bend the plastic bubble cover back until it stops

Like others have said, I bet the defroster is not working as well as it should and an ice shelf is building up and coming into contact with the fan. I had/have/will continue to have this happen on my POS Samsung side by side that I have to manually thaw out from time to time.
