Default Selective service poll....

My son is required to register for selective service. The form asks if he is a male or female. But Females are not required to register. In a day and time when most federal forms are being shifted to gender neutral and non-binary "persons" this seems a bit outdated and sexist.

So the poll question here is:

1. Should females be required to register as well as males?
2. Should transgendered individuals be required to register
3. Should everyone be required to register regardless of gender.

People who are a distraction to the military should not be in the military.

Your 3rd point implies there is more than two genders.
There is only two genders and f--ked versions of both.

IDK, my SIL is in the military and she's a complete badass.

That said, there are certain jobs only men are fit to do. That's not sexist, it's biology. Goes the other way too.

Far as gender BS...that's what it is. BS. There are men and there are women. Period.

Transgendered means nothing. You're either XX or XY. No changing that. Being a tranny does signal mental illness though, and for that reason, they should be out. Healthy males and females should be required to sign up IMO.

If we have to reintroduce the draft, it will be because we need healthy male bodies to put on the front line in the infantry. War is too serious to play entitlement games. No reason not to require all to register, but when it comes to a call up, males will still be drafted at a much higher percentage.

Don't register at all!
If called just take your sorry pussy crybaby ass to Canada for a few years and then when they offer amnesty you just come back.
The county has been there and done that.

Everyone should be "required" to serve for 2 years ... ....

Do 4 years and get free basic in-state college tuition paid for by Uncle Sam

Solves a bunch of problems and will change some snowflakes into responsible adults

A majority of city "men" are becoming Pillsbury soft these days, and someone has to protect the country. Might as well be strong women. Shouldn't be that way though.

I believe that there should be a mandatory service requirement. It should be a condition of Voting rights. Before you go snowflake on my response, I do not necessarily mean military service.

1) In 30s we had the CCC - they built most of the National Parks - Definite service to this country - Many of our parks could use a refresh.
2) Military Service
3) Other public works jobs

All would be paid jobs with housing and food provided. At the end of your service, you would qualify for "free" College or Trade School

I have been in the US Army now for 32 years. I have served with both male and female Soldiers, as well as Joint Assignments, with male and female Airmen, Sailors and Marines. During my tenure, I have also served with gay service members. I came up during the cold war, and have been through many transitions. We are plagued with political correctness to the point that it hampers mission effectiveness. However, toxic leadership does exist but is not tolerated.

For selective service (the draft)… now that we are openly accepting females into combat roles that were traditionally all male, both genders should be required to register. I don't buy into the "non-binary" crap. You are male, or you are female. You have a penis, or a vagina... testicles or ovaries.

We have standards for a reason. The US Military is not a place for participation trophies. Period.

It all depends on what pronoun the individual is using. I don’t understand why people posting above are so non woke. This is serious! The struggle for our younger generation is real.

Junior year I roomed with two Marine ROTC guys. A few of the women in their program I would not want to piss off. I Have a younger employee who did multiple combat tours as a corpsmen. Some of the diversity stuff he talks about being subjected to was beyond stupid.
