Default Any one heard of "Cheblo" mini splits?

I saw the smallest mini split system I have ever seen while driving around Bushwick Brooklyn, NYC the other day. I search the name on the Googles and found nothing. Has anyone heard of this brand? I consider myself to be internet literate and I can't believe I can't find anything on this unit.

Last spring when I was researching (I had a thread or two here)....I recognize that name from searches I did.
I ended up buying 2x MrCool units...installed myself, and am very pleased with them for a budget system. Wicked quiet units....and after a hot summer of running the AC, they are very gentle on your electrical bill....very low electricity consumption.

I'm installing a larger Mr COOL this spring as the 1st one is working so well.. Very easy to install and super efficient . and as you said very quiet. Just match your space to the output of the 5 models offered.I think they are on version #3 now.I got mine at supply house.com free shipping If I recall.

As an HVAC contractor certified in TX, AR, OK, MS, AL, LA, FL, GA, SC, NC, and VA, I can say I've never seen one of these, specifically.

Most HVAC stuff is made in China these days, including Trane and Carrier (also York). I believe we are looking at a knock-off of a knock-off.

It might be fine. It might not. I wouldn't sweat it until it has issues. When it does, you can replace with an equally crappy replacement.

Just installed a Gree 9000 btu in my shed. So quiet you can't tell it's on. Came pre-charged, probably should have pulled a vacuum on the lines but I just took caps off, made my connections quick, cracked the valves and away it went, heats and cools like a dream, all for $700.

FWIW, I installed and am running 2 Senville 2 tons units and 2 AUX 2 ton units. All bought off fleabay. 1 in a rental, 1 in a shop, 2 in a garage. All under $900ea delivered.
all working flawlessly. Local HVAC dealer quoted Daikin at over 2k each. For under 900 I'll run em til they quit and buy another.

There is probably one factory in China that makes all the mini splits. At the end of the line they just stick different brand stickers on them.

We had a mini split installed in our server room last year. Our HVAC folks quoted a Trane unit. I walk out the back door as they are installing the condenser and see no markings on the unit. Make a comment to the installer and he just shrugged. Got back from lunch and there was a large Trane sticker in place. Once up and running, the installer gives me a lesson on the remote. I look at the air handler and it has a Trane sticker and a raised American Standard emblem on the face.
