Default Netflix Movie: The Last Breath- a must watch

Netflix has a great documentary movie about a saturation diving accident in the North Sea called The Last Breath. Been pushing this movie on anyone that will listen and everyone who has seen it has loved it. One of the most amazing stories you’ll see. Mixture of real footage and re-enactments.

Anyone else see it?

From what I saw in the trailer? No thank you, my claustrophobia was rearing it's ugly head in that alone.

The whole concept of sat diving is pretty nuts. 28 days in a sat chamber before the dive and 28 days after, plus the job. Whole lotta time stuck in small spaces with the same people.

It’s a great movie depicting the life and work of sat divers. It’s a brutal job few people can do, and fewer last long at. A lot of the divers historical tasks have been taken over by ROVs which is a good thing. There have been accidents over the past 20 years or so that are horrific. ROVs become more capable every year.

Watched it tonight with Mrs B, who has done some shallow diving for her work.

Excellent movie.

the blow down rate is actually faster to get the DDC at depth. It goes very fast. De sat time, tables vary but as a general a day per 100 fsw. Tables for emergency de sat can be used to bring an injured diver to the surface faster.
