Lake Michigan has kicked my arz much worse than the Gulf Stream could imagine. And always around this time of the year.

You have to wonder what they were thinking going out on the pier with waves like that coming over it...
How do you not get that?

It never fails when the weather kicks up that some potential Darwin Award winner has to go out on the pier to tempt fate. The first responders risk their necks to save people from their stupidity. When the wind makes hard to stand straight and the waves are washing over the pier common sense says that’s a no go zone. Sadly common sense isn’t so common.

The wind today is back in the NW blowing 30+. I wonder how many tide pod people will try their luck?

Crazy thing is that all that rough water had to make it over the break wall and into the harbor. Toward the end of the video you can see the waves really stacking up out in the lake ---- those are the monsters!
